Askable uses artificial intelligence (AI) to build features that elevate your experience with the Askable platform.
Which AI models/providers does Askable use?
Askable doesn’t build or train its own AI models.
The Askable AI features fall under two separate categories, powered by the respective providers:
Features that use Anthropic’s GPT large language model (LLM), for intelligent data processing
This includes features such as Ask AI in Askable Sessions and AI Synthesis (Beta).Features that use OpenAI’s GPT large language model (LLM) for intelligent data processing
This includes features such as AI moderated discovery interviews (Beta).
How's participant data used?
Anthropic, and OpenAI don’t use Askable customers' data submitted via the API (such as transcripts, or other types of data) to train their models or improve their services.
Data retention
Any data sent through both the Anthropic and OpenAI APIs is retained for a maximum of 30 days and then permanently deleted.

Can I disable AI features for my team?
The usage of AI features in Askable is optional. Disabling these features means that your team will no longer be able to use the Askable AI features.
To disable the AI features, please reach out to your Account Manager or via the chat. You can always contact your Account Manager later if you need to reinstate your team's access to Askable AI features.
