The difference between Automated and Hand Picked (In Person and Remote)
The difference between Automated and Hand Picked (In Person and Remote)

When setting up an interview, you can either automate the invite process or hand pick who you invite. So which is for you?

Updated over a week ago

In person and Remote bookings have the option to automate the invite process or hand pick yourself. Depending on what you need as a result will change which you should choose.

Why would I choose Automated?

Speed and ease. Plain and simple.

If you are not fussed about the mix of demographics but more just wanting to make sure they are a 100% fit and that's it, choose this.

It means that once someone completes your screeners, if they are 100% eligible, they will see your session calendar and can confirm themselves. This makes it an extremely hands off process for you. Essentially filling your calendar automatically!

So, why would I choose Hand Picked?

Though hand picking is a bit more involved, it gives you greater control.

If it is important to have a split of certain people such as personas, age, gender, anything - then you will need to hand pick them and invite them to a session time.

PRO TIP: If the mix you are needing is simple enough, such as gender or a single screener question difference, then you can always setup 2 bookings and automate them both. This means not having to hand pick. This should only be done for 'simple' splits though. If you need advice on this, reach out!
