Notes (in Playback)
Updated over a week ago

Users repeatedly told us how useful this little feature is, so we enhanced and made it more intuitive. All your notes are timestamped and displayed in playback against the relevant utterance.

Add a new note

Simply select a section of the transcript and on the right-hand side, you’ll notice the “Add a new note” icon. Click on the icon and a new note modal will appear, ready for you to jot down your thoughts for that particular section.

Once you save the note, it will be displayed as a note icon next to the corresponding transcript section.

But what if your teammate has their own insights? No problem at all! Each user can contribute multiple notes to the same section, and when you hover over the icon, you'll see them neatly stacked on top of each other. These visual cues ensure effortless referencing, allowing you to swiftly locate and revisit your thoughts alongside your team’s contributions.

Edit and delete notes

To modify a note, simply click on the note you want to edit. Then, click on the ellipsis (three dots) icon. You’ll see the options to edit or delete the note. Deleted a note accidentally? We've been there too, just click undo and it'll come right back (phew) 😅.

🗑️ A note (ahem) on deleting notes

You can delete your notes and your teams notes, but you can't edit and save their notes. Why? Notes is a collaborative tool and you may want to clean them up a little and that is ok, but we draw the line at editing other people's notes, for accuracy.
