How we Recruit

1. Panel Broadcast

With easy access to our community of 500,000+ participants, our panel is the first to have access to your Study. The Askable platform allows participants to view & apply for Studies from their Participant App Account the moment your Study goes live.

Askable's in-house Recruitment Team is also responsible for broadcasting your Study out to the relevant audience as per your Demographics & Screener Setup. Participants are notified via SMS in real time so they're not missing out on any of your research opportunities πŸ“²

2. Advertising & Marketing

Askable has a strong integration of social media channels & marketing tools to reach even more people outside of the panel. Askable's advertising experts work on quick & effective advertising strategies after your Study is live.

3. Referral System

With the help of our 500,000+ existing participants, sharing your Study opportunity works like a ripple effect πŸͺ·

The Askable Recruitment Team can support in getting your Study spread out to families, friends, colleagues, special connections etc to help boost your Study numbers.

4. Other Manual Methods

When it comes to a niche or specific recruitment Study, Askable also utilises cold email marketing, physical advertising, community connections, and other recruitment initiatives to get you the people.

How long do we take to Recruit

Typically it takes us 3-5 business days to recruit participants.

Broader participant groups such as general consumers such as X bank customers lean towards the 1-3 business day mark.

Professional or special participant groups such as small business owners of a certain size who are looking at changing accounting software in the last 3 months will take us 3-5 business days.

Even more niche participant groups such as Doctors, participants with disabilities etc will take up up to 2 business weeks if not more to recruit for.

Note that these are rough approximates that serve as a guide. Recruitment timeframes will vary depending on a number of factors

Factors that may affect recruitment success or timeframe:

  • Study setup

  • Incentives

  • Number of criteria

  • Time or season of year (E.g. school holidays / Christmas)

  • Global events or disasters (E.g. Covid / war in a certain country / internet disconnection at a certain area)
