Adding a new agreement template
Adding a new agreement template

Adding agreement templates is easy! We'll show you how.

Updated over a week ago

Because of the secure process that we use to facilitate the signing of an agreement, there are a few steps required to add a template to your account in Askable.

The good news is, it's really easy for you!

The first time you use the Agreement feature you will need to add a new template. To do this select Add new template on the Legal and Privacy step in the booking creation flow as shown in the screenshot below:

Give the template a name and select add:

Once you select add, we will be notified of your new template request and will contact you for the template file. It's as easy as that! We will take care of the rest.

FAQ

How do you know where the participant should sign?

When a template is uploaded we are able to configure where the signature should be added, however if we require clarification we will reach out and confirm with you.

Can I have my logo on the template?

Of course! You can style your template however you would like, provided you are comfortable that is meets the requirements needed for the agreement to be valid. If you are unsure, it is best to work with your Privacy or Legal team on the template format.

What file type is best?

PDF is the best format as we can ensure accurate positioning of the eSignature in the template.

What if I want to delete a template?

You can! But keep in mind if a template is attached to a live booking you will not be able to remove it until the booking is finalised.
