Participant selection
Choose how participants are selected for your study:
Manual: Review and select participants yourself
Automated: Participants who meet your criteria are automatically invited
Exclude previous participants
Choose whether to exclude participants who have previously participated in your studies and set the exclusion timeframe.
Primary contact
Select who receives all study communication and updates.
Custom terms & conditions
Upload or select from custom agreements if required. Invited participants must sign to proceed. Askable participants are already bound by the default Terms & Conditions.
Additional participant instructions
Use this field to provide important instructions that participants must complete and acknowledge before starting your study.
How it works
After participants are invited or confirmed to participate in your study, they'll see a screen displaying your instructions when they attempt to start the study. They must check the box to acknowledge they've read and completed the instructions before they can proceed.
Opportunity listing
Give your audience a short, one sentence summary of what kind of people you're looking for. Focus on the most important criteria for you. This is what will attract the right participants to apply for your study.
Submitting your study
After setting up your recruitment criteria, review all settings to ensure they align with your study requirements.
Remember: You cannot modify recruitment settings after participants begin joining your study, so ensure all criteria are correctly set before submission.
Once your study is submitted it will be reviewed by Askable to ensure the quality of the study. This step usually takes 2-3 business hours.
After a successful review your study will be set to active. Participant recruitment will begin and selected participants will start completing interviews. Participant interviews will appear on the results page.
