Yes. Participants agree to Askable's terms and privacy policy when they create an account and apply for a study, and consent questions covering recording are included in the application flow for studies that record.
When submitting each Study, two default screener questions are added to your study automatically:
Configuring recording on your study
For studies that capture camera, microphone or screen recordings, open your study's ⋯ menu (top right) and select Recording settings to control what's recorded.
Need consent beyond the defaults?
Every organisation has its own legal requirements. Two ways to layer on more:
Extra screener questions. Add a screener capturing any specific consent Askable's defaults don't cover, for example consent to bring a child to the session, show a recent bill, or handle a physical product.
A custom agreement. For anything formal, set up your own consent form or NDA that participants e-sign through Askable. See how to handle legal agreements.
You can also show a custom privacy notice when participants apply. See adding a custom privacy notice.
