Adding a custom agreement, such as an NDA or consent form, takes two steps: name a new template in your study, then send us the PDF. Our team configures it in the backend and your study does the rest.
Add a new agreement template
In your draft study, find the agreements (legal and privacy) section and select Add new template.
Give the template a name and select Add.
Send us a PDF copy of the document via live chat. We'll configure it, including where the signature goes, and confirm with you if anything is unclear.
You can preview how the agreement appears to participants while your study is still in draft. If you don't see changes straight away, refresh your browser.
Add a custom privacy notice
You can show participants your own privacy notice when they apply to your study:
Go to your team Settings, then Resources.
Add your custom privacy policy URL (a webpage or hosted document).

FAQ
How do you know where the participant should sign?
We configure signature placement when we set up your template. If we need clarification, we'll ask.
Can I include my logo and styling?
Yes. Style the template however you like, as long as your legal or privacy team is happy it remains valid.
What file type is best?
PDF. It keeps the e-signature positioning accurate.
Do hyperlinks in the document work?
No. Links inside the document aren't clickable for participants. Write important URLs out in full as plain text.
Can I delete a template?
Yes, unless it's attached to a live study. Finish or complete the study first, then remove the template.
How do I get the signed copies?
Both parties receive an email when signing completes, and you can request signed copies from us via live chat at any time.
