[Legal] Agreement process for Participants

This article steps you through what steps the participants will experience when they are signing an Agreement

Updated over 6 months ago

When you add an agreement to a Study it's important that the Participant signs at the right time, to ensure a smooth process for them, and an agreement signed at the right time for you! We've outlined the process below to give you confidence that your agreements are signed and sent to the right people, at the right time in a secure way.

When a participant applies for an opportunity with an agreement required, the first thing we do is ask them if they are willing to sign an agreement, although they are bound by our standard terms, we want to ensure they understand they will be signing an additional document.

If they choose no, they will be immediately ineligible. If they select yes, they can begin to apply for the opportunity.

Once they have applied and are invited to the opportunity they will then receive an invitation to review and sign the chosen agreement.

Once signed both parties will receive an email outlining the completion of the process.

FAQ

Who sends the documents?

We've partnered with Annature, Australia's leading provider of eSignature documents to ensure a safe and secure process.

What if a participant doesn't sign?

It's not possible for a participant to progress through an unmoderated task without signing the agreement, however for moderated studdies we encourage you to check the agreement status prior to the session, that way the participant can still sign the agreement with plenty of time to spare.
