When your study includes an agreement, participants are asked to sign at the right moment automatically. Here's the sequence, so you know what's happening on their side.
The signing flow
Before applying. Participants are told your study requires an additional agreement and asked if they're willing to sign. If they say no, they're immediately ineligible. If yes, they apply as normal.
When invited. Invited participants receive a request to review and e-sign your agreement.
On completion. Both you and the participant receive an email confirming the signed agreement.

Who sends the documents?
We partner with Annature, an Australian e-signature provider, for a secure signing process.
What if a participant doesn't sign?
For unmoderated studies, participants can't progress through the task without signing. For moderated studies, check each participant's agreement status before their session so there's time to chase a signature.
How do I get copies of signed agreements?
You receive an email when each signing completes, and you can request copies from us via live chat at any time.
Can I see the agreement before participants do?
Yes. You can preview the agreement while your study is in draft.
