After participants complete your study, you'll see a visualisation of their ranking responses, including:
A preference score chart showing how each item scored based on rank position
A rank distribution table showing how participants ranked each item across all positions
Individual participant responses with their full ranking order
Preference score per item
This horizontal bar chart shows each item's overall preference score, calculated from how participants ranked it. Items ranked higher receive a greater score, making it easy to see which items were most preferred at a glance.
How the score is calculated
Each item receives points based on its rank position. The item ranked 1st receives the most points (equal to the total number of items), and the item ranked last receives 1 point. For example, if there are 5 items to rank, 1st place = 5pts, 2nd place = 4pts, and so on down to 5th place = 1pt. If there are 10 items, 1st place = 10pts through to 10th place = 1pt. The average across all responses gives the final score.
Rank distribution per item
This table breaks down how participants ranked each item across all rank positions. Each row shows the percentage of participants who placed that item in 1st, 2nd, 3rd place (and so on), along with a weighted score. You can toggle between percentage (%) and count (#) views using the buttons in the top-right corner of the table.
Individual responses
Below the summary charts, you'll find a table showing each participant's full ranking. This includes columns for each rank position (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.), how long they spent on the question, and when they completed it.
