If you are a participant who has applied and been confirmed to opportunities requiring you to join via mobile, please follow these instructions:
Download the app
Download via either the App Store or Google Play
Login with your Askable account
Click login and enter the email associated with your Askable account
View upcoming opportunities
Any opportunities you have been scheduled for will appear in the opportunities list.
Note - Only opportunities you have been scheduled for will appear here, new opportunities will need to be viewed and applied for at my.askable.com
Joining a call
Tap on a scheduled opportunity in the list to join
Tap 'Join call' to join your scheduled session
Note: The researcher needs to start the call before you can are able to. You'll be in a 'Waiting for call to start' state until this happens. If the researcher has already started the call you'll join straight away.
On call experience
When on your call, the actions at the bottom (from left to right) are:
Turn on/off Camera
Mute/unmute
Screen share
Settings
End call
Sharing your screen
To start sharing your screen, click the Share Screen icon in the centre of the menu, then confirm by clicking 'Start broadcast'.
To stop sharing your screen, navigate back to the Askable app and press the same share button you used to share your screen initially
