Askable Sessions or Third Party Tool?

When running a Remote Study, you get the option to use Askable Sessions or any Third Party Tool of your choice.

Currently, third party tools are not directly integrated with Askable, by selecting which toll you're using, this informs the participants ahead of time.

Askable Sessions is not available to use on
Mobile or for Focus Groups at the moment

How will participants connect to the call?

The best method is to go ahead and set up either a single, re-usable meeting link and then this in a batch message to all confirmed participants.

OR

Generate individual meeting links for each participant and then send them individually using Askable's built in messaging system in your Study

You can also include any extra instructions or passwords

You can of course add each person to their own calendar invite, with the link there. However we find that this is more common in corporate environments and not so much when dealing with a user in research. But you can of course do this as well. You will find their email address in the top right of the messages tab.

Will the participant be sent links automatically?

No, only if you use Askable Sessions will participants be sent links automatically. If using a 3rd party tool, then follow the instructions above πŸ‘†

Are participants familiar with all the different tools?

It depends. Common tools such as Google Meet and Zoom, general public are fairly familiar with. However for more corporate tools like Microsoft Team, Lookback or Webex, we find the general public have less experience with them.
