A few ways to share your prototypes with participants

Updated over a week ago

When it comes to prototype testing, there are a few methods which you can choose to share your designs with participants during your sessions on Askable.

πŸ‘‰πŸ» 1. Sending a link

Via Message

Once you and your participant are in your session, you can easily send them a shareable link to your prototype in the Askable Chat function.

If you're using Askable Sessions, you don't even need to jump to your Askable Study Tab, just use the in-session chat.

If you're using a Third Party Tool, you could also choose to send them the prototype link in your Tool's chat function.

Note that messages sent cannot be edited or deleted. Hopefully we'll soon have an advanced Chat which allows for more flexibility & control πŸ‘€

Via Email

You can choose to send them an email with the link. Their emails can be found in within the Messages Tab

πŸ‘‰πŸ» 2. Sharing your screen

If you are simply wanting to have participants view your prototype, not needing to interact with your prototype, you can just open up your prototype & share your screen!

πŸ‘‰πŸ» 3. Granting remote control

If you're hoping for participants to interact with your prototype, you can also choose to utilise Remote Access / Control functions available to you on third-party platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

You will basically grant participants' access to your Tab to control the contents of your screen.

This means you avoid sending participants a link to your prototype, but it will be wise to check that this meets your company's security regulations. Askable is by no means responsible for your usage of third-party platforms.
