Askable uses two incentive tiers. A standard incentive covers everyday consumer audiences, and a premium incentive covers professional or hard-to-reach audiences. The right tier helps the right people apply, so your recruitment fills faster with better-fit participants.
Who fits a standard incentive
General consumer audiences, for example:
General population
Students, retirees and stay at home parents
Everyday shoppers and online banking customers
Commuters, car owners and household decision makers
Who needs a premium incentive
Audiences who are busy, niche or costly to reach, for example:
Business owners, managers and C-suite professionals
Specific professions, such as healthcare workers or accountants
Users of industry-specific or role-specific software
People with disabilities or accessibility needs
Minors recruited via parents or guardians
A premium incentive is also worth considering for in person sessions during working hours, affluent or luxury-product audiences, sensitive topics, paired sessions (partners or friends together), and urgent timelines.
How the tier is applied
The incentive is calculated automatically from your study setup. Targeting professional filters, such as business ownership or employment industry, typically moves your study to a premium incentive so the right people are attracted rather than anyone and everyone.
Can I set my own amount?
Yes, with our help. Custom incentives are set by our team in the backend. The smoothest path is to submit your study, then message us on live chat while it's in review with your study link and the amount you have in mind. We'll convert it into a credit value and apply it before launch. More detail in About participant incentives.
This is only applicable to non-tracks customers and credit costs applies.
