Incentive amounts are set and managed by Askable, so there's no field for you to edit directly. If you think your study's incentive needs to change, message us on live chat and we'll advise the best step for your situation.
Incentives update automatically when your study changes
If you change your session duration or session times, the incentive goes through an internal review and is updated automatically to match the new commitment. You don't need to calculate anything. As a rough guide, a standard 60 minute session with general population participants is around $45, but the exact amount varies with audience, method, duration and region, so treat your study's checkout figure as the source of truth.
See About participant incentives for how amounts are determined.
Common reasons clients ask, and the better path
Recruitment is slowing and you're considering a higher incentive to attract people. A raised incentive is rarely the first fix. Talk to us first; a targeted recruitment boost or a screener tweak usually works better. See I need more participants.
You've added a homework task to a session. The extra effort should be reflected in the incentive. See How to add homework tasks to studies and let us know via live chat.
You went overtime with a participant. We can arrange an extra payment for them. See I have gone overtime with my participant.
Whatever the reason, message us on live chat with your study title and we'll action it.
