Homework tasks are self-managed on Askable. You set up a normal moderated study, tell us about the homework so the incentive covers it, and share the task with confirmed participants yourself.

A homework task is anything participants must complete before their session: a pre-survey, watching a video, gathering documents or bills, or creating a demo account.

Set the session duration to the session only. Don't add the homework time to it.

Add a screener question so participants agree up front: "If chosen, you will be required to complete a homework task before the session. Do you agree to complete this?" with Yes and No options.

Submit your study, then message us on live chat with your study title and the homework task's expected duration. Our team adjusts the incentive and credits so participants are paid fairly for the extra time. This matters for any homework, and especially for tasks over 30 minutes.
