👉 This article has moved. For the latest guidance, see How can I locate my meeting link and contact the researcher for my Askable session?
Don't worry — here's where to find it, depending on how your session is run.
If your session is on Askable Sessions (our own video tool)
💡 Your Askable Sessions link arrives 15 minutes before your session starts, sent to the email on your Askable profile. So if it's not there yet and you're early, that's normal.
First, check your email — including Junk / Spam / Promotions.
If you can't find it there, get it from the app:
Log in to Askable.
Go to My opportunities.
Select the relevant opportunity.
Tap Join Call at the bottom.
The researcher needs to start the call before you can join — until then you'll see "Waiting for call to start."
If your session is on a third-party tool (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet)
Not all sessions run on Askable's tool. If yours is on the researcher's own tool, they'll have sent the link via Messages in Askable or your email.
If you can't find it, message the researcher directly via Messages in Askable — see How can I locate my meeting link and contact the researcher.
Quick checklist before reaching out
✅ Checked email, including spam/junk/promotions?
✅ Checked My opportunities → Join Call?
✅ Checked Messages for a third-party link?
✅ Is it within 15 minutes of the start time?
Double-checking these first helps your researcher and keeps things smooth for everyone. If you still can't find it close to start time, contact Help & support with your study name and time.
👋 Have fun in your session!
