Why am I asked so many questions?

Why am I asked so many questions?

When you apply for a paid study, you'll answer a set of application (screener) questions. Think of it like an expression of interest. 🔬

We ask these so we're talking to the right person for each study. Our opportunities vary in complexity, so some applications need more questions than others to confirm you're the right fit.

We aim for the sweet spot — just enough questions to give you the best chance of being selected, without wasting your time. 🥳

Why honest answers matter

We really appreciate the effort you put into answering honestly and accurately. It's what gets you matched to the right studies — and answering to "fit" a study you don't qualify for can mean your reward is withheld or your account flagged. See Askable's Honesty Policy.

Do my answers decide if I'm selected?

Yes — they determine whether you match. Not matching one study doesn't affect others. See Why am I ineligible and How to Boost your Profile.

Good luck! 🍀
