What's the difference between the booking Organiser and Facilitator?

Key differences between the two roles and know when to choose one over the other

Updated over a week ago

It's fairly simple this one but an important distinction.

The organiser is simply the person who is creating and setting up the booking, they may also be the one that is selecting and inviting participants to sessions or tasks.

Whereas the facilitator is the person who will be talking with participants on the day of the session.

The reason why we differentiate these is so that Askable knows who to contact for more admin things such as the fulfilment of the booking. And then also, the facilitator is the name that is displayed to the participant as their primary contact person, not the organiser.

Please note that in many cases, these will be the same person.

Can I have multiple facilitators in the same booking?

No, currently we only support assigning one facilitator per booking.

You can have more than one session running at the same time, but technically in Askable the same facilitator will be assigned to both.
