How do I verify my PayPal account?

What is it, and how do I do it?

Some studies on Askable require you to have a verified PayPal account as an extra layer of verification.

It’s important to know that verification happens directly through PayPal, not through Askable. Our platform simply checks that your account meets PayPal’s verification requirements — we don’t control or influence the process.

Linking your PayPal account to Askable isn’t the same as verifying it.

Verification with PayPal usually involves confirming your identity and linking a valid bank account or card.

My account is now verified... Now what?

After you have successfully been able to verify your PayPal account, all you need to do is re-link it with Askable!

You can do this by going to your Profile then going to Rewards and then Reward Method

What if I can't verify my PayPal account?

If for any reason you are unable to verify your PayPal account, that is okay!

Not all Askable opportunities require a verified PayPal account in order to participate.

You may just have to give the ones that do require it a miss.

I've completed PayPal's steps and it still says I'm not verified?

If your account is still showing as unverified after completing all of PayPal's steps you may need to reach out to the PayPal support team.

There are some circumstances where you may need to complete additional steps and the PayPal team are going to be the best ones to help you out with that!

But my account is already linked with Askable?

Linking with Askable and having a verified PayPal account are seperate things.

You can still receives rewards from Askable even without a "Verified PayPal account".

PayPal's verification is an additional security measure they have in place that we utilise for some specific opportunities!
