Reward sent but not received / e-gift card not arrived

What to do when your reward shows as Rewarded but hasn't arrived — including PayPal delays, missing e-gift card emails, and switching reward method or region.

My reward says "Rewarded" but I haven't received it

"Rewarded" means we've sent your payment. There's sometimes a short delay before it lands, and a few easy things to check. Follow the steps for your reward method below.

If you're paid by PayPal

  • Payments can take up to 24 hours after "Rewarded" — and up to 5 business days overall.

  • Check the PayPal email on your Askable account matches your actual PayPal — see How do I update my Payment Information?.

⚠️ Payments sent to an incorrect PayPal email are not recoverable. Correct it now and future payments will go through smoothly.

If you're paid by e-gift card

  • Gift cards arrive by email — check your spam/junk folder first.

  • You can also redeem from your account: Profile → Rewards → Reward History → view your gift card.

  • Gift cards can't be combined into one lump sum, but a larger one can be split across retailers.

  • Choose from retailers in your country: Australia · New Zealand · United Kingdom · United States · Europe

Other common situations

"Only some of my payments arrived"

Each reward is processed separately and may land at different times — check the status of each in Reward History. Some may still be Pending. See Payment timeline & reward status explained.

"I got a gift card for the wrong country"

If a gift card doesn't work where you live (e.g. a US card while based in AU), switch your method to PayPal in Profile → Rewards → Reward Method, and contact Help & support about the affected reward.

"I want to switch between gift card and PayPal"

Change it any time in Profile → Rewards → Reward Method (where both are available in your country).

When to contact us

Reach out via Help & support with your email, study title, and completion date if it's been over 5 business days (PayPal) or you can't find your gift-card email after checking spam.
