How to get paid on Askable

To get paid you need to add your details to your account! Here's how.

To get paid, you just need to set your reward method in your account. Here's how, plus what to do if anything gets in the way.

Setting up your reward method

  1. Log in to Askable and open your Profile (the person icon).

  2. Select Rewards.

  3. Choose your reward method. Depending on your country you'll see PayPal, e-gift card, or both — the options shown are the only ones available to you. Many countries have PayPal only.

💵 PayPal

  1. Press Continue to PayPal.

  2. A PayPal window pops up — sign in to your PayPal to link it with Askable.

⚠️ The PayPal window didn't open? Your browser is probably blocking it as a pop-up. Fix it by either: using the Askable app (App Store / Google Play), allowing pop-ups for the site, or trying a different device. This is the most common PayPal-linking snag.

Linking PayPal ≠ verifying PayPal. Linking connects your account to Askable; some studies separately need a verified PayPal. See How do I verify my PayPal account?

💳 E-gift card

  1. Select E-Gift Card as your reward method.

  2. Enter the email address you want the gift card sent to.

  3. You can also access gift cards later via Rewards → Rewards history.

Note: e-gift cards are only available in some countries. If you don't see the option, PayPal is your method.

After you complete a study

  1. Finish the whole study — task, survey, interview, or session.

  2. Your reward processes through Pending check → Pending → Rewarded, usually within up to 5 business days. See Payment timeline & reward status explained.

  3. It lands in your chosen method — PayPal (within 5 business days) or e-gift card (by email; check spam).

💬 "I finished an interview and my rewards section says it was sent to PayPal today, but it's not there." → This is normal within the 5-business-day window. Confirm your PayPal email matches, then allow the full window. See Where can I find my payment?
