Choosing, Shortlisting & Inviting Participants

Manage your participants like a boss! We'll show you the best & most effective ways to lock your participants in.

You've submitted your Study, whether moderated or unmoderated, and now have a snazzy list of applicants to choose from.

Segmenting

Like any good researcher, you'll want to be able to segment your participants into categories, demographics or personas.

You would've set up demographic filters & screeners to help find a broad range of suitable applicants. From your list of participants, you can go ahead and Segment them so to help narrow down your options.

Step 1 - Click "Filter"

Step 2 - Choose your combination of Screeners & Demographic fields

Step 3 - Label your Segment

Step 4 - Save your Segment

Step 5 - Repeat for other sample groups!


Shortlisting

Moving on to the next step in the Funnel. You will go into each Segment that you have created OR from the full list of applicants and start Shortlisting!

You simply need to "Heart" ❤️ the participants that stand out to you.

From there, you can even create a separate Segment just to view your Shortlisted participants.

Step 1 - Click "Filter"

Step 2 - Select "Shortlisted" is "True"

Step 3 - Label & Save as Segment


Individual Invite

Once you have your special list of shortlisted participants of list of Segments, you can start inviting whoever you want!

To individually invite each participant, you can use the Actions Button (Drop Down Button) and select "Invite".

That will open up a right hand side panel to show their available times which you can choose & hit Send


Bulk Invite

But why individually invite when you can BULK INVITE 🤯

From your shortlists or segments, you can check multiple participant's checkboxes and click the Invite button up top

You can also choose to bulk select everyone in the Segment cause why not?

Step 1 - Click Invite

Step 2 - Click Populate Suggested Times

Step 3 - Hit Send

PRO TIP - Always over invite more participants than you need!

Don't worry if you are inviting more participants beyond your set quota. It's a first-in-best-dressed policy for participants, you will only ever have your set quota of people booked in.

Those who accept their invitations late will just get Waitlisted
