Why am I asked to sign an Agreement?

Some studies ask you to sign an agreement as part of taking part. You'll get a notification to sign it digitally before your session.

What is this agreement?

Usually one of two things:

  • Consent to record — your consent for the session to be recorded for research purposes.

  • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) — keeps what's shared with you in the session confidential (common when you're shown unreleased products or ideas).

Signing is required to take part in those studies, and it protects both you and the client.

What am I agreeing to?

How your participation and any recording are used, and (for NDAs) keeping study materials confidential. For the bigger picture, see What kind of information do you collect? and our Privacy Policy.

The agreement won't load or I can't sign it

  • Refresh and try a supported browser (Chrome).

  • Turn off any VPN / ad-blocker.

  • Try a different device.

If it still won't let you sign and your session is approaching, contact Help & support with the study name. You can also reach out with any specific questions about an agreement.
