For studies that require Participants to be on mobile sessions via the Askable App

How do I ensure participants are using mobile? πŸ“±

During the Study Setup phase under "Device", select either "Mobile only" or "Any device".

The rest of the study setup remains the same.

What do I need to know before my mobile session starts?

Before your session

If you're looking to do screen sharing of a participant's phone screen, this is currently possible in the Askable App.

  1. Ask the participant to download the Askable App via their App Store or Google Play.

  2. Have the participant log in to their account in the Askable App.

  3. Send the participant their session joining links prior to the session starting.
    Study participant screen > Dropdown > Session joining links
    ​

Note: There is a known issue where the "observer" link must be the link sent to the participant instead of the "participant" link.

The observer link is formatted as:
βœ… https://sessions.askable.com/rooms/[session id]

It is also the link that is shared when you copy the url when the session is live.

The participant link starts with my.askable.com
