Tracking your study payments

See all your completed studies in one place, what each payment status means, and when to expect to be paid.

Overview

You can now see all your completed studies — and exactly what's happening with each payment — in one place: the Completed tab in My opportunities. No more wondering where your incentive is.



A small change to payment timing

From 30 June, study payments are released within 4 business days of completing a study. This short window lets us check each study and keep payments secure and fair for everyone.

You'll always see your expected payment date on each completed study, so you know exactly when to expect it.



Where to find your payments

Go to My opportunities → Completed. For each completed study you'll see:

  • The study and the amount

  • The PayPal or GiftPay account it's going to

  • The payment status

  • Your expected payment date

Tap any study to see more detail and a progress bar showing where your payment is up to.



What the payment statuses mean

  • ⏳ Processing payment — Your payment is on its way. You'll see your expected date here; most payments are released within 4 business days of completing the study.

  • ✅ Paid — Your payment has been paid to your PayPal account or GiftPay email.

  • ⚠️ Payment failed — Something went wrong sending your payment. Contact support and we'll get it sorted.

  • ❌ Payment cancelled — This study wasn't approved for payment. If you think this is a mistake, contact support.



What you need to do

For most studies, nothing — just keep an eye on the Completed tab and your payment will arrive within the expected window. You only need to reach out if you see Payment failed, or a Payment cancelled you don't think is right.
