How our research opportunities work & how to get selected

Updated over 6 months ago

Askable is a paid user testing platform where you can sign up for research opportunities & get paid for your opinion! πŸ€‘

To get selected for a research opportunity, you simply follow these steps:

Step 1: Create an account if you haven't already.

Step 2: Start applying to the opportunities that are relevant to you - kind of like an expression of interest! You can do this in the "Find Opportunities" tab in your Menu.

The pre-questions you answer during your application process is by no means the paid element of the research opportunity.

Step 3: ⏳ Wait for your application to be reviewed by the researchers!

Research opportunities have different criteria and factors. In order for companies and organisations to implement effective change they need many voices, representing different demographics so there are no right or wrong answers, just be honest!

Step 4: If you meet the criteria of the research opportunity, you will be successfully selected. You will get notified via SMS when you get invited to a session.

Step 5: Confirm your session & mark your calendar πŸ—“οΈ You can view all confirmed sessions in your Account Menu > Upcoming Sessions.

Step 6: On the agreed time, make sure to join the session according to any instructions given in the opportunity.

For more info on how to access your session, click here. If the session is run on a Third-Party Platform, you should expect to receive a meeting link via your "Messages".

Step 7: Get paid & enjoy your payment 😎

Step 8: The more you apply, the more you'll get selected!

πŸ€” FAQ

Why am I asked so many screening questions?

Every now and then, you might stumble upon a screener that's a tad longer than usual. Certain studies tend to be more intricate, leading to screening with an increased number of questions before qualifying for the main study.

We're all about keeping things smooth, but there are instances where a little bit more detail is required in ensuring the perfect match for our researchers 🌟
